Date/Times for Tournament Matches
Set a schedule for the tournament, so participants know when their matches are to take place.

Ability to rank the participants in your tournament in order maximize the probability that the final match will contain the two best teams.

Create Dummy Participants for a Tournament
Allows easier creation of sample tournaments (or tournaments without actual user participants / teams). Using this method of participating would not link tournament results with user accounts.

Instead of randomly generating the bracket in an unseeded single elimination tournament, the user should be able to setup matches and customize the bracket.

I want to run a Poker Tournament
People play in groups, no teams. Play continues until each group only has X (configurable) people remaining, then those winners move to the next round. The winner is the last man standing (with the most chips)

Add challenge ladder tournament types
Players challenge other players, who are a certain limited rank above them, to matches. The result of that match determines the movement on the ladder. If the challenger wins, then they trade places.

Allow for Installs on End-User Servers
I am saddened to hear that the development if ALP has come to a close, but delight in the new project. One of the best features of ALP was its ability to be installed on end-user servers and customized to meet that particular group's needs. I would really like to be able to do this with Tournology.

Impliment Custom Themes Engine
Allow users to "theme" either the site, or better yet their own install (wink wink). This would help the cohesiveness of the page for a particular group and help users know where they are.

Allow score entry via SMS
Let users text in their scores to the tournament, so if they don't have access to a computer they can still make updates real-time.

Tournament Categorization by Activity Type: Tennis, Bowling, etc.
Will allow searching by activity type for participants. May increase tournament participation.
